This is something significant that I've wanted to blog about
Since 2wks ago ..
.

The night when my hope of boarding the plane
To Sydney was dashed 7hrs before the stipulated time
No one could comfort me enough to make me smile
No amount of words could make me stop kicking myself
Nothing could mend my heartache of letting slip something
That was within my reach but out of my grasp at the 11th hour
.
I was smiling (on the outside)the whole day
Just to reassure my family that I was taking it well
It was nothing, just a trip that could be postponed
Nothing to make a big fuss about
But truth be told, it was very huge for me
The letdown was totally devastating
No one could understand that
The me on the inside was drowning in disappointment
.
Until you came to my door in the middle of the night
And brought along a tub of ice cream ,hung it outside the door
Cuz I didnt answer any calls ( I felt so bad for making u wait )
The ice cream wasnt the main point,not even close ..
Ur simple & thoughtful gesture was =)
It was something no one had ever done
Cuz no one ever knows how to handle me when I'm
Having my ups and downs ..
But yet, without a word, no hints , no signs
U did this for me, on your own =)
U actually know how to ... cure me ... haha
.
I was shell-shocked upon seeing the bag hanging there
U actually got out,bought the ice cream and drove here
Just to cheer me up !
I held the cold tub of ice cream & gazed hard at it
Feeling the freezing cold tub and the numbness of my hands
It's real .. not a dream .. haha
Instantaneously, I smiled a huge grin
It was straight from my heart
The warm kindda feeling ..
That was my first real and happy smile that day
Very sweet smile , even before I had any strawberry ice cream !

That is something I appreciate and will remember for all times
I guess that's what triggered it for me
=)
